I concur, I use one of these and they are invaluable, what I like best is that it will charge up my onboard battery without even being plugged into the mains. It gives me peace of mind for when I go on site and may have forgotten to charge up my onboard battery.

It took me ages to get hold of one of these, because no one seems to stock them, but I notice they are available ex stock from the company mentioned above in the article.

I can recommend them to any surveyors or in fact anyone else who need extended battery power on site or while travelling.

We bought two of these recently and boy what a good piece of kit it is, not only does it gives us 7 or so extra hours on site it also charges up the onboard battery on our Samsung Q1.

I don’t know why we struggled with battery life for so long 🙂
