National Self Build & Renovation Centre Swindon

July 28th, 2011

People planning to construct their own house may wish to visit the National Self Build & Renovation Centre, located in Swindon, if they wish to find assistance.

With a “packed calendar” of workshops and events, it provides a great deal of useful information for this purpose, according to Jaclyn Thorburn, communications manager at Buildstore.

She stated there are full-scale exhibits and recommendations from a team of professionals, who are “on hand to answer your every query”.

Individuals can enrol for a course on the subject, which lasts for three days, she added.

It is open for five days every week, has no entrance fee and is the biggest permanently-open exhibition centre with its facilities in Europe, Ms Thorburn explained.

Members of the public can also have an audio guide of the facility and discover the variety of ways in which they can approach the task of renovating or constructing their home.
