April 9th, 2013

Interior fit out products manufacturer, SAS International, is helping project teams meet environmental compliance to measurement ratings including BREEAM and LEED by launching a set of new environmental statements.

The new SAS International environmental statements offer compliance information regarding all of the company’s products which include suspended ceiling systems, doors and partitioning systems. Th statements have been launched to help project teams achieve environmental compliance with the likes of BREEAM, LEED, Green Star – Offices v3 compliance, SKA, QSAS and Estidama (Pearl Building Rating System).

With today’s projects demanding the long term value of products coupled with environmental credentials, SAS can offer innovative manufacturing techniques, exceptional product design and responsible materials sourcing to meet these modern needs.

The company was the first ceiling manufacturer to offer ISO 14025 Environmental Product Declarations (EPDs) across its entire suspended ceilings range. These EPDs cover more than 145 different acoustic backing and grid alternatives.
